Uva Ursi is effective for curing kidney infections, inflammatory diseases and bladder infections. This herb is also useful for curing diabetes. This herb can be used for preventing infection of womb after childbirth. This herb should not be taken by a pregnant women, it could be harmful for her.

Habitat:
Uva Ursi is difficult to grow and hardly reaches for few inch high. Rich soil is not suitable for this herb, this herb is like to be in poor soil and full sunshine.
