About:
Influenza is a type of flu, this disease caused by infection with the virus of influenza. This disease mainly effects on nose and throat. This is a highly contagious disease. This is a common disease.
Symptoms:
Influenza is a disease which begins suddenly. It starts with headache, fever, chills and pain in muscles. Another symptom of this disease is inflammation in nose and throat. At the middle stage of influenza temperature of body becomes 102 dg f and at the upper stage it rises to 104 dg f.
Causes:
Main cause of this disease is viral infection. Other causes are unhealthy life style, lack of exercise, wrong diet etc.
Treatment and Medicine:
Long pepper is a very good herb for curing influenza. Take half spoon long pepper powder, half spoon ginger juice, two spoon honey mix all of them and take this mixture three times in a day. This is a very effective remedy in the beginning of disease.
Ginger is a splendid remedy for treating influenza. Take 1 spoon fresh ginger juice, 1 cup of fenugreek decoction, and honey as per your requirement, make the mixture of all these remedies and take once in a day, that will give a remarkable improvement.
Another excellent remedy for influenza is green basil leaves. Boil 1 gram leaves with ginger in 500 gm water and take it as tea for getting immediate improvement in the condition of patient. Garlic is also very good for influenza, take garlic as per patient capacity.
Onion is a very effective home remedy in the treatment of influenza, take onion juice and mix it with equal honey and take this mixture thrice in a day.
Diet:
In the first stage patient should take only fruit juice and vegetable juice after mixing with water. After some improvement, when fever subsides. Patient can take fruit and milk and in the last stage he can use balanced diet with fresh fruit and raw vegetables. In influenza patient should avoid spices and condiments, cheese, potatoes, tobacco, alcohol, highly seasoned meats, over-boiled milk, pulses, strong tea and coffee, rice, and processed foods.
