About:
Constipation is a very common disease of digestive tract. When bowels do not move regularly and completely, it produces toxins, and these toxins goes into the bloodstream and spreads in whole body. This is a major predisposing factor in many diseases like rheumatism, appendicitis, arthritis, cancer, high blood pressure.

Symptoms:
Main symptoms of constipation are irregularity, infrequency, difficulty in elimination of the hard faecal matter. Other symptoms of constipation are headache, foul breath, dizziness, coated tongue, ulcer in the mouth, dark circles under the eyes, loss of appetite, nausea, depression, varicose veins, pimples on the face, constant fullness in the abdomen, acidity, pain in lumbar region, insomnia and heart burn.

Causes:
Major cause of constipation is living style and diet. Many other causes are taking meat in large quantity, use of strong tea, bad combination of foods, unscheduled eating, insufficient intake of water etc. Emotional stress and lack of physical activity also can cause constipation.

Treatment and Medicine:
Most of the fruits are good for curing constipation, but banana and jack fruits are not good in constipation. Bael fruits are more effective than others. Regular use of these foods can cause eliminate old accumulated faecal matter. It is advisable that should be taken in original form and only 60 gram is right for an adult. This remedy should be taken before dinner.

Grapes are excellent remedy for preventing constipation. Grapes are used to tone up the stomach and provide relief from chronic constipation. Around 350 gram fruit daily is required for getting best result. Raisins can be used when fresh grapes are not available, soak them in water for 24 to 48 hours and than take it early in the morning.

Orange, a very good remedy for constipation. A very simple and effective remedy, take two oranges at sleeping time and also in the early morning to make regularity in bowels, orange juice is also good for preventing constipation and accumulation of food residue in the colon.

A patient of chronic constipation can take a diet of pears and its juice, that will prevent magically from constipation and also effects very well when only one pear is taken after dinner and with breakfast.

Papaya and figs are also very good for curing constipation. A papaya with breakfast woks as a laxative and fig is also effects as a laxative, it may be dry or fresh. Soak dry figs in water for 12 hours and than use it in early morning. That will prevent constipation magically.

Diet:
Diet is very important during constipation, diet should be simple and natural. Food of constipation's patient should have clarified butter, wholegrain cereals, lentils, green vegetables, fresh fruits, dry fruits, butter, bran, honey, and cream. Food should be taken after chewing very well, hurried meal and sugar foods should be avoided.
