About:
Cholesterol is very important for our body, we can't live without cholesterol. Cholesterol is very essential and good for our body. But imbalance of cholesterol is not good for our body. Cholesterol imbalance can cause heart attack. Cholesterol runs in our body two protein packages known as LDL(low density lipoproteins) and HDL(high density lipoproteins). LDL means bed cholesterol and HDL means good cholesterol. HDL flushes bad cholesterol and helps in preventing from heart attack and LDL blocks the flow of blood in liver, kidney, brain, and can be caused heart attack.

Symptoms:
Symptoms of low cholesterol level are depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, increased aggression, propensity to violence and heart diseases and symptoms of high cholesterol level are blood flow to vital organs including brain and heart. This is advisable cholesterol can be high or without any symptoms.

Causes:
There might be many causes for cholesterol imbalance, that could be genetic property and other unmaintained chronic conditions. Some other causes of cholesterol imbalance are Excessive smoking and drinking, stress, high blood pressure and high intake of fat diets.

Treatment and Medicine:
There are many herbs and exercise for maintaining cholesterol. Garlic is a very effective remedy for cholesterol imbalance, it lowers the LDL and increases HDL. One garlic clove should be taken early in the morning with empty stomach every day.

Ginger is also very good for lowering cholesterol level. Use ginger in tea and in your daily diet in breakfast and dinner, it is a effective remedy for thinning the blood and improving blood circulation. Patient should have oat meal and drink 8 to 10 glass water daily.

Exercise and Yoga is very important for cholesterol imbalance. Walking and running is very effective, there are many type of yogasanas including padmasana, ardhamatsyaendrasana, shalabhansan and vajrasana. All these yogasanas are very good for protecting from heart diseases and reducing weight. But you should consult your doctor before doing any exercise.

A very good home remedy for managing cholesterol level is 1 spoon roasted chicory roots, ½ spoon fenugreek seeds, 1 spoon lime flower, ½ spoon ginger, and 1 quart of water. Boil this mixture and take it twice in a day after being cool.

Diet:
Apple is very good for heart diseases and maintaining cholesterol level. Patient should take an apple every day. Take juice and carrot, celery, beet juice. Patient should take 10 glass water daily. Avoid oily foods.
