Chicken Pox
About:
Chicken pox is a major disease and mostly occurs in children in three to four year age. Also affects in older age of 15 to 20.
Symptoms:
In initial stage low fever, headache and weakness and in the first step of disease rashes appears on skin. After some time there is a large number of rashes on face, chest. After six or seven days skin becomes clear and patient feels better.
Causes:
Major cause for chicken pox is virus, and other reasons are wrong feeding in childhood fever. Another condition for this disease is shingles or herpes zoster that affects adults.
Treatment and Medicine:
Home remedies are best for curing chicken pox. A very popular and effective remedy for treating chicken pox is bath of oatmeal. Take two cup oatmeal and boil it in two liter water for twenty minutes then take this mixture into a bag and put this bag in water until water becomes turbid. It is advisable bag should not be torn. Use this water for bathing children.
Another remedy for treating chicken pox is soup of carrot and coriander. Take 100 gm carrots and 60 gm coriander, cut them in small pieces and boil in 1 cup water soup is ready for taking. This soup should be taken once in a day.
Herbal tea is very beneficial in the treatment of disease, this tea is made by using various herbs including chamomile, holy basil, marigold, and lemon balm. Make the tea of these herbs and you can add honey in this tea, take this herbal tea many times in a day. That will give an excellent improvement.
Brown vinegar is very important remedy for curing chicken pox. Add half cup vinegar in warm water and take bath with this water, it is a perfect remedy for removing irritation of the skin.
Diet:
Patient of chicken pox should be aware about diet. He should take only juice diet in beginning stage like raw fruit juice, vegetable juice, and lemon juice. After few days when condition is improving, patient can take well balanced diet with fresh and dry fruit.
